Sunset in Paradise

As we head further into Fall, North Carolina sunsets only get more spectacular. That’s not just our opinion, its scientific fact! The dryer and cooler air of this season allows more colors to shine through without being scattered by various particles in the air. But enough science, let’s talk about where you can watch nature’s beautiful display in Wendell Falls!

Tobacco Barn

Not only is the Tobacco Barn historically significant for our area, it is also a great place to catch a sunset in Wendell Falls! Due to its position on the hilltop, it offers sweeping views of all that nature’s “good night” has to offer.

Solstice Park

This elevated hillside park is perfect for viewing the sunset in Wendell Falls. Solstice Park also features 3 large sculptures that create eye catching shadows depending on the time of day. Luckily there are also multiple spinners here to keep the kids dizzy – we mean busy – while you take in the sculptures and sunset views!

Phase 10

The entrance to one of our newest phases in the community also offers one of the newest sunset views! From the corner of Wendell Valley Boulevard and Piney Falls Drive you can see almost all of what will one day soon be The Collective, but you can also see some really incredible sunsets. For what its worth, you can also get a pretty good view of nearby thunderstorms too, and sometimes BOTH!

Lake Pavilion

Craving the calming sounds of a fountain during your sunset experience? Try the Lake Pavilion! Though it is not like the other elevated locations we have mentioned previously, don’t discount this sunset spot. The gorgeous colors of the sunset skies reflect off the ripples in the lake creating your own personal landscape painting.

Sunset Park

The name says it all. Sunset Park was made for sunset views! And with an outdoor workstation pavilion complete with electrical outlets to keep your devices charged, no one could blame you for ending your workday with a sunset here.

Wendell Falls is located just 15 miles from downtown Raleigh, North Carolina, one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the U.S. Explore artfully crafted new homes and townhomes from the low $300,000s – $900,000s+.
