Halloween Activities to Lift Your Spirits at Wendell Falls
It’s spooky season! Gear up for happy haunts leading up to Halloween, from a dog parade and an outdoor movie to a Halloween bash and a 5K race—plus our community yard sale. Check out the lineup of upcoming events below:
Cinema Under the Stars, Kids’ Halloween Edition
Oct. 18, residents only
Corral the whole family and BYO lawn chairs and blankets to sprawl out for a movie night under the stars by the Lakeside Pavilion for a screaming good time watching Hotel Transylvania. You’ll definitely want to sink your teeth into this event!
Oct. 19
What better way to welcome fall than by supporting local artisans, listening to beats by a DJ, and enjoying mini golf, bubbles and a pumpkin decorating station at Grove Park? What's more, since all those activities are sure to work up an appetite, belly up to the duo of food truck hotspots that will be rolling up: Friendly Tacos and King’s Breakfast & More. Yum!

You’ll want to zoom to sign up for this annual Halloween morning 5k, promising spooktacular fun for ghouls, goblins and ghosts of all ages. Dress up for the race if you’re feeling festive! Register here.

Get ready to roll out from Farmhouse Cafe with whatever decked-out vehicle you’re riding—from golf carts and bikes to scooters, wagons or anything with wheels. Spectators (and specters!) can enjoy the spectacle of the boo-tifully decorated carts from their porches, driveways or a Wendell Falls park. It’s sure to be a wheel-y good time!
Howl-o-Ween Pet Costume Parade
Oct. 27, open to the public
Fido never looked more festive than at the paw-some pet parade showcasing a lineup of dressed up four-legged friends at the Farmhouse Cafe (just be sure your participating pup is up to date on shots and properly leashed)! Prizes will be awarded for best owner/pet couple and best pet costume, plus peruse the local pet vendors on-site and grab some grub from the Farmhouse Dogs Hot Dog Cart. Hot dog, indeed!
Nov. 2, open to the public
Mark your calendar for a community-wide yard sale on the first Saturday of November! Get an early start at 7 a.m. to shop and sort through a slew of sensational deals, a chance to declutter your house and chat with neighbors. Who knows what treasures you’ll find!
